Job Summary
Manage the overall operations of Synagro's SWPCA Facility, including full P&L responsibility, personnel oversight, and process safety. Lead the team to ensure compliance with all contractual, permit, and environmental regulations while executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans to minimize downtime. Build strong relationships with the Authority and senior leadership, manage capital budgets and projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean methodologies. Maintain accurate data in CMMS and financial systems, troubleshoot process problems, and foster a culture of accountability and safety. Direct six operator-mechanics and one lead operator-mechanic to achieve annual operating metrics.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Chemical or Mechanical
- 3+ years relevant experience in a plant environment
Desired Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Chemical or Mechanical preferred
- 3+ years in a leadership position preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 products, CMMS, and enterprise financial systems, FIIX and NetSuite
- Knowledge of biosolids processing
- Knowledge of 503 regulations
