Job Summary
Lead all day-to-day manufacturing operations at the Fargo plant to consistently meet production, quality, safety, and cost targets. Drive continuous improvement across production lines using lean manufacturing principles, develop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer demand, ensure equipment reliability through proactive maintenance, and partner with supply chain to manage material flow and inventory. Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing production team; foster accountability, engagement, and inclusive culture; conduct performance conversations and coaching; develop supervisors to grow leadership capabilities. Champion a zero-incident safety culture; ensure OSHA compliance and quality system ownership with root-cause analysis and corrective actions; collaborate with the quality team to meet customer satisfaction targets. Manage the plant budget, identify cost reductions, and report KPIs to senior leadership with actionable plans; collaborate with finance on budget and forecast accuracy. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of plant or operations management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- ERP system experience
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
- OSHA compliance understanding
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High emotional intelligence and servant leadership orientation
