Job Summary
Plant Manager to oversee and optimize plant operations for a battery-market supplier. Drive safety culture, implement safety plans, conduct investigations, and lead production, quality control, and maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure regulatory compliance. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team; manage budgets and resource utilization; prepare reports on performance and compliance metrics; leverage lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to achieve continuous improvement and environmental compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a plant manager with a focus on safety and operational excellence
- Industry experience in specialty polymers, plastics, or automotive is ideal
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance standards
