Job Summary
Directs site operations as Plant Manager/Director of Operations, leading production, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, and related departments to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing. Drives Lean manufacturing, optimizing OEE and delivering cost savings through process improvements. Sets clear goals for teams, monitors daily operations, and guides performance. Develops and executes a 3–5 year strategic plan to ensure capacity, infrastructure, and growth support; participates in new product development and leads facility implementation. Oversees annual budgeting, collaborates with the VP on adjustments, and coaches plant leadership. Engages in cross-functional meetings, analyzes sales trends and cost performance for strategic direction, enhances facility stewardship, and maintains asset maintenance plans. Requires strong leadership, communication, analytical skills, and deep knowledge of equipment, processes, HACCP/SQF/GMP/AIB regulations, with SAP experience a plus; ability to travel occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Food Science preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a production facility
- 3+ years as Plant Manager
- Food industry experience preferred
