Job Summary
Plant Manager overseeing a 475+ employee operation to achieve excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) while directing plant operations, budgeting, and continuous improvement. Lead a multi-department team, manage production, distribution, warehousing, and sales activities, develop and enforce policies, ensure regulatory and safety standards, drive cost management and profitability, collaborate with customers to expand service offerings, and provide strategic guidance to department managers. Requires strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, with familiarity in TPS and experience with automotive suppliers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, business, etc.) preferred
- 10+ years of experience in plant management, preferably within the automotive industry
- Familiarity with the Toyota Production System (TPS) is a plus
- Prior experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Japanese automotive customers is a strong advantage
- Proven project management experience
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
