Plant Manager (Profile Extrusion)

Job Summary
Plant Manager to lead our PVC profile extrusion facility, owning all plant operations and driving productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role manages production scheduling, material/inventory control, training of supervisors and line workers, and enforces safety and housekeeping policies (LOTO). The ideal candidate has 5+ years of management in PVC extrusion manufacturing, strong leadership and communication skills, hands-on problem-solving on the plant floor, and experience with continuous improvement methodologies; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business is preferred but extensive relevant experience will be considered.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience within a PVC profile extrusion manufacturing operation (e.g., siding, pipe, window profiles, fence, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business is preferred; however, extensive relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Hands-on approach; willing to actively train and problem-solve directly on the plant floor
- Excellent communication skills; ability to interact with R&D, Engineering, Maintenance, and Upper Management
- Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement methodologies
- Natural leader with exceptional people skills and the ability to inspire and rally a team to achieve ambitious output and growth goals
- Proactive, take-charge personality with strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience leading and managing supervisors, QC, Maintenance, fabrication, assembly, and shipping/receiving personnel
- Ability to optimize production scheduling and maximize efficiency across the plant
- Knowledge of housekeeping and safety procedures, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout)
- Experience with material management and inventory control
- Hands-on training capability for line workers
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
