Plant Manager

Job Summary
Oversee daily/weekly schedules and shifts; manage facility operations including production, quality assurance, inventory control, sanitation, maintenance, purchasing, and supervision of employees; ensure OSHA and GMP compliance; coordinate with Food Safety Manager and recall team; ensure adherence to SOPs and use of Famous/WMS; lead and motivate staff, conduct evaluations, and address attendance; develop and manage budgets; train personnel on equipment use; resolve operational problems; monitor costs across the Delray Beach, FL regional facility; ensure product traceability and quality; drive customer issue resolution and continuous improvement; maintain a safe, organized facility with strong housekeeping; manage vendor pricing and service levels; support regulatory audits and recalls; foster cross-functional collaboration with Supply, Operations, Distribution, and Sales teams; relocate and negotiate with stakeholders as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Food Science, or a related field
- Master's degree is a plus
- Proven experience in a leadership role in fresh produce or food manufacturing
- Experience with ERP, WMS, and CMMS software such as Famous and Redzone is a plus
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in financial management and budgeting
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
