Job Summary
Plant Manager is accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and financial objectives of Philly’s Best Steak. This role collaborates with plant leadership and various departments to ensure compliance with Production Schedule, SOPs, GMP, USDA standards, and company specifications. Responsibilities include strategic direction, staffing and training needs assessment, leadership in budgeting and workforce planning, cross-functional collaboration, development and training of SOPs, cost reduction and quality improvements, and monitoring KPIs using ERP/MRP/CRM/Power BI. The position requires strong leadership, project management, data analysis, and adherence to food-manufacturing standards, with visibility on the production floor and across operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial manufacturing, business, or related field preferred
- 6-8 years’ experience in a manufacturing role required
- MS Office, ERP experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Lean tools and continuous improvement knowledge
- Experience with ERP systems required
- Experience with SQF codes preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and withstand cold temperatures for a full shift
- Experience in writing reports, policies, SOPs, processes, training programs, and manuals
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred)
