Plant Manager

Job Summary
Lead, mentor, and develop departmental leaders including Superintendents and Supervisors to achieve plant objectives in safety, quality, productivity, and cost control. Oversee workforce planning, succession development, and talent acquisition strategies while championing a culture of accountability and engagement. Establish and enforce a proactive safety culture ensuring full compliance with food safety, environmental, and regulatory regulations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement quality assurance programs, and optimize resource allocation to reduce waste and minimize downtime. Serve as the primary liaison between the Director of Operations and plant teams, facilitating cross-functional collaboration and reporting accurate performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
- 5-7 years in a manufacturing environment
- 4-6 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Bachelors/Associates degree
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience
- 4-6 years of supervisory experience
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale operations
- Expertise in lean manufacturing
- Expertise in Six Sigma
- Expertise in ERP systems
- Strong strategic thinking
- Strong problem-solving
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication
- Excellent leadership capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in data analysis tools
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
