Job Summary
Lead day-to-day plant operations, including safety programs, production flow, maintenance, and workforce management. Manage hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions for plant personnel while developing supervisors and frontline leaders. Monitor KPIs, conduct operational reviews, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and throughput. Partner with engineering, supply chain, quality, HR, and finance to resolve issues and support capacity planning for new products. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred with 5+ years manufacturing experience including 3+ in leadership. Located in a fast-paced environment focused on sheet metal, machining, and welding fabrication for Water Infrastructure, Roads/Bridges, and Aerospace industries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience
- 3+ years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of plant operations, safety, and production management
- Experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement
- Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze performance metrics
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
