Job Summary
Plant Manager — Houston: Responsible for safe, cost-effective production of recycled rubber products; lead, coach, and develop Production, Maintenance, and Administration teams; drive safety, quality (>94% first-grade mat quality), on-time shipments (>98%), and productivity against budget; manage 50 employees with 24/7 plant schedule; build and execute continuous improvement initiatives, capital projects, and cost-reduction efforts; ensure adherence to core values and robust performance culture; collaborate with HR on hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management; demonstrate strong leadership, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination, with a focus on reliability, process optimization, and customer service; requires travel internationally and strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years manufacturing management experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance
- Lean & Six Sigma working knowledge and track record of results
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Maintenance management experience (CMMS)
- Strong financial acumen in budgeting/investment justification
- Previous experience with manufacturing systems (QMS, CMMS, ERP, HS&E, MES, KPI Reporting)
- Strong capital planning and execution experience
- Ability and availability to travel internationally as required
