Job Summary
Plant Manager responsible for coordinating with District officials to ensure educational, administrative, and community use of District facilities is continuously available. Oversee accessibility and safe operation of facility systems; monitor, operate, and troubleshoot all building systems; schedule and supervise maintenance programs; submit progress logs, inventories, and monthly activity reports as required; ensure compliance with structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire codes; implement safety and mandated programs; participate in required District training and adhere to policies. Travel and work in varying environmental conditions, including potential exposure to extreme weather, with a focus on maintaining facilities and services for district operations and community use.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid Alaska Driver’s License
- Five years of supervisory experience
- Boiler maintenance and troubleshooting experience
- Pool certification
- Five years construction trades or facilities maintenance management
