Job Summary
Lead daily plant operations for Imprimus Labels & Packaging's Brea facility, managing production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives. Direct production supervisors, operators, and support personnel while overseeing scheduling, workflow, staffing, and equipment utilization. Monitor key performance indicators including waste, spoilage, downtime, and labor efficiency to drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput and operational efficiency. Maintain a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with Customer Service, Sales, Quality, and senior leadership to meet delivery commitments. Manage plant expenses and provide regular operational updates to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
- Experience managing a production facility or significant manufacturing operation
- Demonstrated ability to lead supervisors and hourly production teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to balance production demands, customer priorities, quality requirements, and cost objectives
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-driven manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline
Desired Qualifications
- Label printing, flexible packaging, commercial printing, converting, or closely related manufacturing experience
- Experience with flexographic and/or digital printing operations
