Job Summary
Plant Manager overseeing commissioning, operations, maintenance, safety, and compliance for a multi-technology power facility during commissioning and post-commissioning phases. Responsibilities include staffing, training, budgeting, contract administration, safety culture, and serving as primary liaison with Owner, NAES, EPC, OEMs, regulators, and stakeholders. Leads commercial activities, operational readiness, outages, and regulatory reporting while ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent preferred but not required
- Experience as Plant Manager at natural gas-fired, multi-unit or multi-technology facility
- Supervisory experience over technical, supervisory, and hourly personnel
- Leadership, budgeting, and operational excellence
- Hands-on support for O&M and outages
- Experience with LM6000 turbines, GE 7EA units, gas engines, and BESS
- Safety and regulatory compliance knowledge
- Management of Change (MOC) program oversight
- Liaison with regulators and stakeholders
- Driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or equivalent
- Experience as a Plant Manager at a natural gas-fired, multi-unit or multi-technology generation facility
- Supervisory experience overseeing technical, supervisory, and hourly personnel
- Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills
- Hands-on support, troubleshooting, and directing planned and forced outages
- Knowledge of LM6000 and 7EA turbines, gas reciprocating engines, and BESS systems
- Budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and contract administration experience
- Safety regulations expertise and Management of Change (MOC) program oversight
- Environmental compliance, regulatory reporting, and liaison with regulatory agencies
- Valid unrestricted U.S. driver’s license
