Job Summary
Lead and oversee mining plant operations, including extraction processes, production targets, equipment maintenance, and safety/compliance. Manage staff development, budgets, procurement, and inventory; monitor production data and report to senior management. Identify new mining opportunities, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure regulatory compliance. Fluency in Swahili is an added advantage; experience in Tanzania or similar regions preferred.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in mining and exploration or gold processing
- at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Solid knowledge of gold processing techniques and equipment
- Proven ability to manage budgets and prioritize cost-effective solutions
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for PR responsibilities
- Excellent problem solving & decision-making abilities
