Plant Manager

Job Summary
Oversee daily plant operations including production, maintenance, and administrative functions while coordinating with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with customer specifications and in-process testing. Lead plant personnel through performance evaluations, goal setting, and training on safety, Lean principles, and High-Performance Work Systems to drive continuous improvement and cost savings. Manage capital budgeting, project analysis, and inventory costs while maintaining full compliance with federal, state, and local EH&S regulations. Communicate with upper management, sales, and external partners to meet long-term objectives and customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of seven to ten years' experience in manufacturing
- Certification and proven experience in Lean/Six Sigma including 5S, PDCA, Kaizen, TPM, Standard Work, Kanban systems and all other lean CI methodologies
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related business field
- Minimum of seven to ten years' experience in manufacturing
- Must have a strong EHS background
- preference for safety certification in related disciplines
- Requires knowledge and experience with ERP systems similar to Oracle
- Requires knowledge and experience with PM software
- Direct maintenance experience and leadership will be required
- Significant knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes
- Significant knowledge and experience in customer service
- Significant knowledge and experience in quality procedures
- Significant knowledge and experience in office administration
- Strong, proven change management leadership
