Job Summary
Plant Manager responsible for overseeing daily operations across all departments (kit, XLR8, Cleanroom, Warehouse, and Customer Services) at Bohemia, NY, ensuring safety, production goals, quality assurance and customer satisfaction. Provide leadership to department leaders, forecast and plan production, meet delivery schedules, and drive process improvements. Collaborate with engineering, sales and purchasing to optimize production processes and inventory management; maintain regulatory/OSHA compliance and uphold company policies; foster accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence throughout all departments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, manufacturing or related field
- 5+ years of experience in operation management, plant manufacturing, upper management or leadership role
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality management and systems maintenance
- Knowledge and experience of manufacturing audit requirements
- Experience with SAP or ERP (Visual) and Microsoft Office including Excel
- Six Sigma experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple high priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
