Job Summary
Plant Manager to lead operations at the Thorofare, NJ facility with a strong focus on Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include overseeing daily manufacturing operations (production, scheduling, quality control), driving Lean and CI initiatives, monitoring KPIs (throughput, labor efficiency, scrap, on-time delivery), managing plant-level P&L, directing production planning and capacity management, optimizing processes and equipment utilization, ensuring SOP adherence, and collaborating with Finance and Sales to align production with business needs. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 8+ years of operations leadership in manufacturing, Lean/CI experience with measurable results, experience with Lean tools, P&L/accountability, production scheduling and capacity planning, standardized processes development, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
- 8+ years of operations leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience leading Lean / continuous improvement initiatives with measurable results
- Experience with Lean tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, process standardization, waste reduction)
- Plant-level P&L responsibility or direct financial management experience required
- Experience managing production scheduling, capacity planning, and plant operations
- Experience developing and implementing standardized manufacturing processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
