Job Summary
Plant Manager responsible for general supervision of all plant operations including production, quality control, customer service, maintenance, receiving, and shipping; ensure safe, efficient plant operation; manage subordinate staff and drive improvements. Oversees departments related to production, administration, distribution, and safety; develops customer relationships for retention; analyzes and improves service to meet customer needs; manages KPIs for sales growth, productivity, inventory control, and profit margins; develops budgets; ensures product quality control and implements efficiency changes; handles HR tasks including hiring, termination, and reassignments; engages in community involvement; leads leadership development at lead/foreman levels; performs other duties as assigned. Strong emphasis on cross-functional coordination, data interpretation (rates, ratios, percentages, graphs), and proficient use of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint to support business objectives; capable of handling multiple tasks, solving complex problems, and communicating across departments; physical readiness for required lifting and exposure to potentially hazardous environments; periodic travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5+ years of managerial/supervisory experience related to production, operations, and/or distribution.
