Job Summary
Lead safe, reliable, customer-focused operations for the ultrafiltration manufacturing facility in Greifenberg, Germany, overseeing approximately 135 employees and contractors. Establish clear expectations for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP) through daily visual management and tiered meeting structures. Champion lean manufacturing principles, including A3 problem solving, Kaizen, and 5S, to drive continuous improvement and waste elimination. Spend significant time at the Gemba coaching leaders, reinforcing standard work, and ensuring operational risks are identified and managed. Build a growth mindset culture that encourages experimentation and develops a diverse pipeline of manufacturing talent. Partner closely with functional support teams in EH&S, R&D, supply chain, and commercial to align plant priorities with business strategy and deliver sustainable financial results.
Required Qualifications
- Solid manufacturing leadership experience across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Reliability, Technology, Quality, Finance, HR, EHS, or Continuous Improvement disciplines
- Proven people leadership experience
- Proven experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Daily Management, and structured problem-solving methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related discipline
- Lean and/or Six Sigma certification

- Experience working in labor union or works council environments
