Job Summary
Prepare annual expense and capital budgets while developing five-year facility and equipment plans. Lead all operations within the Las Cruces manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, federal regulations, and company policies. Direct the resolution of plant complaints, manage operational issues through department leaders, and establish continuous improvement processes to maximize productivity, reliability, and safety. Analyze manufacturing performance, maintain equipment reliability using TPM methodologies, and develop strong relationships with procurement, planning, finance, and sales teams to meet customer demand.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance or a related field
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing facility
- A minimum of 7 years leading in a TPM or Lean manufacturing environment
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Experience working in a TPM environment
- Experience with Food Safety and GMPs
- Proven project management skills
- Demonstrated ability building and sustaining relationships at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to resolve issues
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours to support the needs of a multi shift operation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a High Performance Work Systems (HPWS) and/or Self Directed Work Team environment
- Knowledge of SAP, manufacturing methods and related equipment
- Experience in the food and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
