Job Summary
Plant Manager for Madisonville responsible for executing the company’s vision and coordinating all plant resources under the Vice President of Operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operations that deliver high-quality products and meet financial and operational goals. Key duties include maintaining product quality, safety, legality, and regulatory compliance; documenting, analyzing, and reporting plant financial and operational trends; defining and tracking KPIs; maintaining a safety-driven culture; executing personnel programs in compliance with applicable requirements; and leading daily plant performance meetings. Desirable experience includes leading food manufacturing operations and ammonia refrigeration systems. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of plant operations experience; strong root-cause analysis, communication, leadership, and proficiency with MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proven 5+ years of experience in plant operations
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants
- Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and relationship-building skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization in person and in writing, including presenting training
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Familiar with operating plant equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong leadership and managerial attributes
- Experience leading food manufacturing operations (Desirable)
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration/freezer systems (Desirable)
