Job Summary
Manage all aspects of facility operations, including hands-on operator and maintenance duties such as making batches, loading trucks, and equipment repairs. Direct activities for manufacturing, maintenance, quality, EHS, and engineering teams while overseeing the CAPEX program and site budget. Ensure product and delivery quality meet customer requirements, maintain ISO and NSF compliance, and lead safety audits and incident investigations. Prepare weekly performance reports, production plans, and maintenance schedules to align site goals with business objectives. Perform routine daily plant walks and assist at other locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in chemical plant operations and maintenance
- Ability to act independently and on own initiative
- 0 - 5% travel required
- Travel for attendance in Manufacturing Department functions as required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years' experience in a related management position
- Demonstrated excellent leadership skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc)
