Job Summary
Lead all plant operations at the Woodbine tube and core facility, overseeing manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, production planning, quality, and environmental health & safety functions. Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing principles, establish performance expectations, and monitor key performance indicators to address gaps. Foster a culture of safety and compliance while building high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, and workforce planning. Develop forecasts for production capacity, contribute to annual budget development, and execute business strategies that align with organizational goals. Maintain a safe and compliant workplace, deliver quality and production targets, and achieve annual operating objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience with responsibility for multiple operational functions
- Demonstrated success leading plant operations in a manufacturing environment
- Strong manufacturing operations and business acumen
- Proven leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Financial management and budgeting experience
- Proficiency with manufacturing systems, business systems, and data-driven performance management
