Job Summary
Plant Manager responsible for overall performance of the manufacturing facility in Châteauroux, leading strategic planning and daily shop-floor management, ensuring safety and compliance, production scheduling, quality control, and budget ownership. Drive Lean/Six Sigma/5S continuous improvement, oversee maintenance and equipment upgrades, recruit and mentor staff, manage KPIs and capital requests, and coordinate cross-functional activities to meet customer delivery and quality targets. Requires 10+ years in manufacturing, 5+ years in extrusion press, 8+ years of people leadership, HSD/GED, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field. Travel up to 15%. French and English bilingual preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of ten years in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of five years within extrusion press
- Minimum of eight years of people leadership experience with formal training
- HSD or GED
- Bachelor’s degree Major(s): Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or a related degree or equivalent experience
