Plant Manager Djewels

Job Summary
Assure implementation of O&M requirements in design and prepare systems for operations readiness during commissioning and start-up. Manage safe, efficient handover of the Djewels plant from EPC contractors to Djewels BV, then assume end-to-end accountability for plant operations, P&L, and asset management. Lead the team and integrate operations with Nobian and Bilfinger to deliver reliable facility performance while optimizing maintenance contracts and engineering standards. This role supports the operational phase of the 20 MW electrolyser project in Delfzijl, Netherlands, as Power2X advances its global energy transition portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Master level in preferably process or mechanical engineering or related disciplines
- Proven experience in (petro)chemical/oil and gas process operations with more than 5 year experience
- Leadership role in operations and/or maintenance with demonstrated broad oversight of how O&M decisions/activities/requirements interlinks with project development
- Understand maintenance and reliability engineering sufficiently to be able to manage the contract with the maintenance service provider
- Experience in setting up and/or optimizing operational management systems with fit for purpose focus
- Experience in CSU
- Ability to work with large array of (external) stakeholders and managing contracts
- Native Dutch speaker or fluent in Dutch
- Good communication and presentation skills in English both verbal and written
- Leadership skills
- Ability to drive continuous improvement of the processes, policies, standards
- Self starter with Excellent interpersonal skills, influencing, persuading, entrepreneurship, result oriented, negotiation, problem solving
- Good structured and analytical skills
