Job Summary
The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordinating, administering, and managing the activities of the process engineering, maintenance, and production functions at the Clyde plant. Key responsibilities include driving the maintenance and production teams towards strategic goals, implementing effective maintenance programs, monitoring process performance for continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role requires a strong engineering background, leadership skills, and expertise in injection molding processes.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic competencies
- Working knowledge of injection molding and heavy industrial tooling preferred
- Strong functional knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance procedures and practices
- Proven track record demonstrating leadership and team player abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of molding machines, materials, equipment, and processes
- Better than average computer and math skills
- Ability to manage multiple departments and projects
- Ability to work under significant deadlines
