Job Summary
Direct and coordinate all plant operations and maintenance within company policies; maintain a clean and safe working environment and serve as the safety leader. Establish and direct plant policies and procedures while meeting production goals and fostering a positive team environment. Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of safety, purchasing, production, quality, human resources, accounting, and shipping. Establish shift production schedules, select and train supervisory staff, conduct performance reviews, and schedule plant meetings. Ensure product quality and adhere to federal, state, and company regulations regarding wastewater. Work with customers and suppliers, attend corporate training, and perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- At least four years of plant supervisor experience
- Minimum of four years direct experience managing portion control operations
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Good verbal and written skills
- Supervisory experience
- Willingness and ability to perform physical requirements of the job
- 3 - 6 trips per year domestic and possible international trips
