Job Summary
Oversee daily batching and production of ready mix concrete while scheduling deliveries to meet customer needs. Supervise plant employees, coordinate work assignments, and monitor inventory of cement, aggregates, and admixtures. Ensure quality control standards, maintain a safe environment, and complete production reports. Operate a ready mix concrete mixer truck when needed, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and delivering to job sites. Maintain DOT compliance and communicate with dispatch and customers. Assist with plant and yard duties during downtime. This hands-on role supports SRM Concrete's mission to serve customers and communities with excellence across over 600 locations.
Required Qualifications
- Class A or Class B CDL
- Willingness to undergo SRM's pre-employment screenings
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for transportation and delivery
- Proficiency with dispatch software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to learn new systems
