Job Summary
Plant Manager responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership of the plant staff, planning and assigning work to meet production schedules, implementing policies and procedures, developing subordinates, and recommending production-method improvements. Essential duties include managing production, maintenance, logistics, safety, quality, productivity, budgeting, cost-saving initiatives, and KPI reporting to management. The role collaborates with the COO/Operations Planning to align raw materials and equipment capacity, and requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving to drive efficiency in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or technical degree preferred
- Minimum seven years’ experience in Chemical Processing Industry
- At least five years chemical plant manufacturing experience
- Five years of Supervision experience
- Experience with batch chemical manufacturing and packaging processes
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or five years plant management experience in a chemical environment
