Plant Manager - Aurora Bearings

Job Summary
Manage all day-to-day operations of the Timken Aurora Bearing Plant to meet Business Plan Objectives and Key Performance Indicators related to Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Inventory, and Production Output. Drive improvements across production, scheduling, engineering, and HR by aggressively implementing lean manufacturing principles and benchmarking best practices. Ensure plant processes and employees comply with all government regulations and Timken policies while acting as the primary representative in the local community to engage with organizations and media. Develop strong working relationships with key functional groups including Sales, Supply Chain, and Purchasing to align strategy with business needs. Improve associate skills through established training and development programs. This role supports Timken's mission to improve industrial equipment efficiency and prepare for the future of motion.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing facility
- Experience leading a manufacturing operations group
- Development of comprehensive business plans (costs, inventory, etc.)
- Development of employees of all levels within a plant
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Business and/or Manufacturing strategy experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain or related field with 15+ years' experience in manufacturing
- Master's degree in engineering, business, supply chain or related field with 12+ years' experience in manufacturing
Desired Qualifications
- Product development and/or sales/marketing experience a plus
