Job Summary
Plant Manager oversees overall operations of the facility, including production, logistics, quality, maintenance, safety, budgeting, and people development. Responsible for achieving KPI targets, cost reduction, continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and implementing best-in-class practices. Leads safety culture with near-miss reporting and fatality prevention, drives lean/six sigma projects, and partners with leadership on workforce planning, training, and development. Requires extensive management experience, capability in budgeting and resource allocation, and strong knowledge of manufacturing quality standards (ISO 9001) and lean manufacturing practices. Injects innovations from product development into plant operations and ensures efficient movement of materials while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in a technical or business-related discipline or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of management experience
- Experience with Lean projects
- Experience with budgeting/expense management and financial practices
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, 5S, and related quality/safety standards
- Experience balancing multiple priorities and leading organizational change
- Proven track record of improving performance in a leadership role
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and strategic planning
