Job Summary
Guide all aspects of the industrial cylinder fill plant operations, including the production and repackaging of compressed and liquid gases into cylinders. Lead and mentor team supervisors while investigating and reporting injuries or accidents to maintain a safe and productive facility. Coordinate operations, support safety compliance, and implement continuous improvement measures for production methods and equipment performance. Coach associates on performance development and address grievances to ensure alignment with Airgas policies and pre-employment requirements. Maintain a clean, organized plant where safety rules are consistently observed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in engineering or related technical diploma
- 7+ years experience with ASU's, pumps, mechanical, electrical
- Technical and working understanding of Air Liquide's operation processes
- Prior work with and knowledge of Air Separation Unit
- Ability to read and comprehend key operating documents and to troubleshoot production problems
- Valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers
- Must have good computer skills
- Must have a valid drivers license with good MVR
- Must have good electrical, instrumentation and mechanical skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prior SAP and Power BI experience
- 5+ years experience in management
- Quality and Safety knowledge
- Prior forklift experience
- Prior operational and production experience
