Job Summary
Directs a manufacturing plant's operations, overseeing production scheduling, downtime minimization, safety and regulatory compliance, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives. Leads and trains teams to foster safety, accountability, and high performance; manages budgets, inventory, and equipment maintenance; collaborates on quality assurance and analyzes data to generate performance reports. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10+ years of plant/production management experience, with Lean Six Sigma certification/certification-lean training preferred; strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and proficiency with ERP and manufacturing software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Relevant certifications in manufacturing management or Lean Six Sigma (a plus)
- 10+ years in plant or production management, preferably in manufacturing
- Proven team leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality, and safety
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and manufacturing software
