Plant Manager (Advanced Food Processing & Consumer Packaged Goods)

Job Summary
Lead full end-to-end accountability for plant operations, engineering, and capital execution across the facility, delivering safe, regulatory-compliant, and highly reliable operations while optimizing manufacturing costs and supply continuity. Drive machine uptime and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through disciplined preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, and spearhead modern digital manufacturing tools including automated OEE tracking and real-time downtime analytics. Manage the total plant operational budget, aggressively control overheads, and take ownership of major CAPEX programs from scoping through commissioning. Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, and Procurement to eliminate operational friction and ensure seamless new product introductions, while embedding lean methodologies and mentoring teams to support next-generation automated systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing)
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science
- Direct, hands-on operational leadership within highly fast-moving, high-volume consumer food manufacturing sectors
- High-velocity production line expertise
- Experience handling the rapid cycle times, high-turnover SKUs, and immediate freshness demands typical of premier food FMCG plants
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive manufacturing and engineering leadership experience
- Experience in high-speed, automated food packaging or processing environments
- Proven success direct-managing multi-disciplinary plant teams (Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and HSE)
- Demonstrated capability in managing substantial operational budgets
- Demonstrated capability in driving down scrap/yield loss
- Demonstrated capability in executing complex, high-value CAPEX projects
- Outstanding communication skills
- Stakeholder management skills
