Job Summary
Plant Manager responsible for day-to-day operations at the Fish Island facility, overseeing production schedules, inventory levels, yields, hiring/training manufacturing personnel, safety compliance, supplier relations, and cost containment while maintaining quality and on-time performance; lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma/Lean tools, manage budgeting and ERP/MRP systems, and develop resources to achieve 99% fill rate and 100% on-time shipment with a focus on safety, team leadership, and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive leadership/management experience in a manufacturing facility
- experience with continuous improvement/lean tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, and Transactional Lean
- budgeting/expense management with basic understanding of financial accounting practices
- experience/broad understanding of safety systems and safety policy implementation
- strong communication, leadership, and accountability
