Job Summary
Oversee a 1-shift workforce of 120+ employees and manage the plant’s daily operations, production schedules, safety, quality, and efficiency. Lead hiring, training, and development of production staff, including Team Leaders and department heads; enforce OSHA compliance, payroll-related records, and discipline per the CBA. Drive operational improvements (including RFID implementation) and foster collaboration with department heads to meet organizational goals. Maintain strong leadership in a bilingual (English/Spanish) environment while ensuring a safe, compliant, on-site production setting at the Long Beach, CA plant.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of management experience
- 3 years’ experience leading a team in a production environment
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Able to read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently
