Job Summary
Plant maintenance duties at Rahns Construction Materials to support production and plant operations. Responsibilities include performing maintenance in accordance with MSHA and H&K Safety policies, sustaining clean work areas, proactively learning plant functions, cross-training to handle different plant tasks, and traveling to portable plant sites. The role requires effective verbal and written communication, ability to fit test and utilize PPE, and comfort working in an outdoor industrial setting. Preferred experience includes welding, cutting, fabrication, basic electrical knowledge, and loader/heavy equipment operation. Pre-employment drug testing and a safety-focused environment are noted as part of the role."
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or related experience
- MSHA or safety certification (preferred)
- Ability to meet physical requirements and wear PPE
- Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication; basic electrical knowledge (preferred)
- Experience operating heavy equipment or in outdoor industrial setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
