Job Summary
As a Plant Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance inspections, diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding major equipment and components such as balers and conveyors. You will maintain equipment performance and quality while responding to emergency breakdown service calls. It is essential to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating problem-solving skills in a physically demanding environment that may involve lifting heavy objects and working at heights. Candidates must have a valid certification in the Industrial Mechanic trade or relevant experience and meet defined physical and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Legally eligible to work in Canada with a valid SIN
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
Desired Qualifications
- Certification or Red Seal in the Industrial Mechanic Millwright trade
- Experience as a Plant Maintenance Technician
