Job Summary
Inspect equipment and systems regularly to spot issues before they become problems, then perform scheduled preventative maintenance to avoid breakdowns. Prioritize tasks with plant leaders while maintaining clear records of repairs, parts, and labor hours. Stay sharp by learning new techniques, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with outside experts for specialized support. Identify and correct hazards to ensure a safe work environment. Ready for emergency repairs including nights or weekends, with a background in plant or industrial maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in plant, industrial, or manufacturing maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable operating plant machinery
- Willingness to complete SRM's pre-employment screenings
- Willingness to work nights or weekends for emergency repairs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a concrete plant
- Certifications in electrical work, plumbing, or welding
- Technical training or a vocational degree
- Quick-thinking problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
