Plant Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Diagnose, repair and maintain fixed mechanical equipment and systems across North Texas and Oklahoma aggregate sites. Routinely inspect mechanical equipment and systems, communicate with plant management about items needing attention, and maintain crushers, conveyors, pulleys, pumps, screens, and screen bearings. Conduct job safety analyses (LOTO, heights, confined spaces), report incidents, and participate in safety toolbox talks. Adhere to company safety, environmental, compliance, HR, and plant policies; demonstrate a culture of safety in all work environments. Requires strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical knowledge; experience with predictive and preventative maintenance techniques and welding/fabrication skills; ability to work overtime and meet safety requirements. Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Two (2) to three (3) years of specialized technical training, apprenticeship, or relevant certifications are strongly preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive, hands-on experience in industrial maintenance within construction, building materials, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment
- Advanced proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with troubleshooting and repair capabilities
- Strong electrical knowledge including low voltage troubleshooting and control systems
- Experience with predictive and preventative maintenance techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, balancing, laser alignment)
- Proficient welding and fabrication skills (stick, MIG) with ability to perform complex repairs/installations
- Ability to work overtime/weekends
- DOT certification desirable
- Adherence to safety protocols and use of PPE including respirator fitting requirements
