Plant Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain fixed mechanical equipment across North Texas and Oklahoma aggregate sites. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, communicating with plant management, maintaining crushers, conveyors, belts, pulleys, pumps, screens, and screen bearings, performing job safety analyses (lock-out/tag-out, working at heights, confined spaces), reporting incidents and participating in safety meetings, and adhering to all safety, environmental, and company policies. Requires strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical knowledge, experience with predictive and preventive maintenance, welding/fabrication skills (MIG/stick), and willingness to work overtime. DOT certification is desirable. The role involves hands-on industrial maintenance in a heavy industrial environment and offers competitive pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Two to three (2-3) years of specialized technical training, apprenticeship, or relevant certifications are strongly preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive, hands-on experience in industrial maintenance within construction/building materials/manufacturing/heavy industrial environments
- Advanced proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with demonstrated ability for advanced troubleshooting and repair
- Strong electrical knowledge including low voltage troubleshooting and repair on basic and complex electrical control systems
- Working knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, equipment balancing, laser alignment)
- Proficient welding and fabrication skills (stick, MIG) with ability to perform complex repairs and installations
- Ability to work overtime/weekends
- DOT certification desirable
- Adherence to safety protocols and proper PPE usage
