Plant Maintenance - Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will assemble, install, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components per schematics and drawings; diagnose issues in machinery and throughout the facility; perform minor construction tasks (e.g., painting, drywall repairs); collaborate with engineering and production on new equipment installations or modifications; ensure safety and quality standards; work emergency call-ins and mandatory overtime including weekends; and undertake additional responsibilities as needed by management.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or technical diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, PLCs, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and vacuum systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and maintenance software
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to wear a respirator and all PPE requirements
- Ability to enter and attend permit required confined space
- Mobile Equipment Certified
- Industrial electrical experience preferred
- Experience with HVAC is a plus
- Knowledge of machinery operating software/hardware such as PLCs and VFD controls
- Reading and understanding technical documentation and using trade mathematics
- Experience with sensors and monitoring devices for temperature, flow, pressure, voltage, current
