Job Summary
Perform plant maintenance while adhering to MSHA and H&K safety policies. Maintain clean work areas including catwalks, walkways, and the general plant area. Proactively learn plant functions and operations to complete assigned tasks. Cross train to learn all plant jobs and substitute when necessary. Travel to different portable plant sites as required. This role supports production at Rahns Concrete, a division of Haines and Kibblehouse, which operates eight stationary and three portable plants across southeast Pennsylvania. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with welding, cutting, or fabrication.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR related experience and/or training
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
- Welding, Cutting, Fabrication
- Travel to different portable plant sites
Desired Qualifications
- Basic Electrical knowledge preferred
- 3+ months related experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Strong preference for Loader operation experience
- Experience working in a quarry, heavy civil construction, or other outdoor industrial setting
- MSHA or other relevant safety certification
