Plant Maintenance - Electrician

Job Summary
Provide guidance and support to Maintenance, Production, R&D, Quality Assurance, and Operations for product and process development. Perform effective troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventative maintenance on industrial food equipment, including robots, conveyors, and high-speed packaging systems. Proactively detect potential problems, recommend necessary repairs, and ensure safe plant operations by working with production to establish clear SOPs. Maintain and edit engineering drawings using AutoCAD or similar software while conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. Troubleshoot PLCs and ensure all equipment follows established safety protocols and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid 442A Ontario Industrial Electrician trade license
- 5 years of industrial food equipment experience
- Knowledge of robots, conveyors, high speed packaging equipment, and electrical/electronic controls
- 5 years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
- Experience troubleshooting with PLC's
- Knowledge of working on Auto Cad or similar software program
- Computer skills for Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership skills

- Works well under pressure
