Job Summary
Plant & Legal Entity Controller responsibilities include: supporting monthly controlling activities for a Swiss production site, analyzing manufacturing costs, variances and KPIs, preparing cost and performance reports, assisting budgeting/forecasting, ensuring data quality in production and overhead costs; handling Legal Entity Controlling & Reporting, supporting monthly/annual closings, basic management reporting, and cooperation with central finance, accounting, and external partners; interfacing between controlling, accounting, and IT for ERP topics; contributing to global transparency and KPI analyses within a multi-national setting; working with ERP systems (Dynamics AX currently, SAP in future) and participating in process improvements; global controlling support for the Abrasives business, including consolidated reports and budget tracking; strong English and Polish language skills are required with German as an advantage; high proficiency in MS Excel and readiness to travel. The role offers an employment contract, stable employment, and a monthly bonus up to 15% along with company benefits.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Minimum 2 years of experience in controlling or finance
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing company preferred
- Fluent level of English and Polish; German is an advantage
- Good understanding of finance and budgeting practices
- Good understanding of accounting and reporting in production company
- ERP experience required; SAP preferred; openness to Dynamics AX (Axapta) initially
- Very good MS Excel skills; reporting tools a plus
- Structured, analytical, reliable, detail-oriented, well organized
- Comfortable working in an international virtual team
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Switzerland (1–3 times per year)
