Job Summary
Lead the hourly workforce on the Waco, Texas mine site by coordinating daily operations, ensuring compliance with MSHA regulations and safety rules, and directing work activities to meet production goals. Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections, operate specialized machinery, and monitor processes to adapt scheduling for efficiency. Actively promote safety awareness, train employees, and fill vacant positions as needed while maintaining strong communication across the team. Requires night shift attendance with on-call flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
- Positive, Team-based attitude
- The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required
- The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a mining environment
- Capable of using Microsoft Office
- Ability to demonstrate independent judgment, resourcefulness, and effective leadership
- Ability to solve and identify complex problems using advanced technical knowledge and creativity within a mine environment
- Ability to walk up and down elevated controls; stand and bend for extended periods of time; climb stairs, elevated catwalks and ability to lift 60lbs
