Plant Lead

Lead Person oversees plant operations and safety, collaborates with the Plant Manager to establish production and maintenance schedules, and mentors operators to improve efficiency. Responsibilities include safely operating equipment, inspecting and maintaining machinery, tracking inventory and downtime data, coordinating routine plant and mobile equipment maintenance, ensuring availability of pre-processed materials, maintaining housekeeping and safe traffic patterns around plant equipment, and reporting production deficiencies to the Plant Manager. The role also involves participating in safety meetings, providing daily production numbers, and performing manual tasks to operate equipment designed to crush concrete on site when needed. Bilingual a plus (English and Spanish) and ability to work in all weather conditions are noted; physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing up to 20 feet, and wearing standard safety equipment.
