Job Summary

Establish and enforce plant-wide safety protocols while conducting regular inspections and corrective action follow-through. Select and install correct molds, verify batch formulas and moisture content, and inspect finished products for structural integrity and defects. Set up production equipment, perform routine maintenance tasks, and monitor performance throughout shifts to report malfunctions immediately. Maintain clean work areas, handle raw materials safely, and complete miscellaneous labor tasks as directed. This role supports daily production operations at the Block II manufacturing facility, ensuring equipment setup, material preparation, and product quality standards are consistently met.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal production instructions and company procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify product defects and equipment irregularities.
  • Effective verbal communication skills for interaction with supervisors and fellow production team members.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and gripping materials throughout the full work shift.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work in an outdoor and industrial environment under varying weather and environmental conditions.
  • Ability to comply with all plant safety policies, environmental regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Up to 120 lbs. lifting (Maximum).
  • Up to 100 lbs. repetitive lifting throughout the shift.
  • Approximately 120 lbs. carrying as required.
  • Approximately 120 lbs. pushing/pulling as required.
  • Approximately 120 lbs. pinching/gripping as required.
  • Frequent overhead reaching as required by task.
  • Frequent extended reaching away from body as required by task.
  • Approximately 3 hours sitting per day.
  • Approximately 3 hours walking per day.
  • Approximately 6 hours standing per day.
  • Approximately 1 hour climbing/kneeling per day.

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a concrete block production facility or similar masonry manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with concrete admixtures, mold systems, and batch production processes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
