Plant Inventory Specialist

Job Summary
Manage equipment parts inventory across warehouse and plant locations while maintaining records, item setup, pricing, and reorder points within the ERP system. Review plant purchase requirements to issue purchase orders, expediting critical spare parts to support operational needs. Monitor inventory levels, investigate variances, and conduct regular reviews to ensure accuracy. Source and evaluate suppliers for competitive pricing and reliable service, supporting bidding processes and contract management activities. Prepare reports on inventory performance, aging inventory, and procurement metrics to drive cost control and budget management. This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 3–7 years in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain, including ERP proficiency and the ability to travel periodically for inventory reviews at other locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 3–7 years of experience in inventory management, procurement, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related field
- Experience working with ERP and inventory management systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations, inventory control, and purchasing processes
- Ability to travel periodically to support inventory reviews at other locations
